MDC’s Home Repair program assists elderly and disabled homeowners with repairs of a minor, yet urgent nature, as well as moderate home repair projects.
Repairs can be items such as leaking faucets, minor roof repairs, plumbing problems, adding a handrail to a tub enclosure, just to name a few.
The limit for minor home repairs is $500 per program year.
- You must be at least 60 years of age or be disabled.
- You must own and reside in the home needing repair.
- Your household monthly gross income meets a federal standard for this program. Contact us to determine this.
The moderate home repair program is for one-time projects valued at between $501 – $4,999.
