MDC honored with Gold Star Community Partner Award

MDC representatives recently attended the Gold Star Community Partner Award ceremony hosted by the Tacoma Public Schools (TPS) Partnership office.  In recognition of its work and approach to student success, MDC was awarded a Gold Star Community Partner Award.  Five MDC staff attended the event, including two academic instructors and educational advisors, Stephanie Perrine of Henry Foss High School and Micah West of Mt. Tahoma High School.  MDC Education programs help students from low-income, first-generation families graduate from high school and prepare for college.
