Volunteers joined with MDC staff and other organizations on Jan. 29 in the annual Pierce County Point-In-Time Count that gives our community a baseline of how many individuals are experiencing homelessness at this one point in time. According to Pierce County officials in charge of the count, the final results will be available in April.

Thank you to the volunteers and staff who helped with this year’s count. Because of your efforts, warm clothing, hygiene items and other items were distributed to those currently experiencing homelessness throughout the county. Your work and help made a difference.
