MDC’s Employment services help people overcome barriers to employment, provide opportunities for career development, training and coaching for the self-employed or small business owner, and specialized training for those seeking employment with large corporations in our community.
Having a job is important to self-esteem; it also gives the means to build a stable life. Unemployment or under-employment is one the major causes of homelessness.
EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY CENTER
The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) provides free educational support to adults in the following areas: educational planning, career advising and exploration, assistance with financial aid forms and college applications, and student loan default advocacy.
