We can answer your questions, schedule an assessment, and develop a treatment plan that suits your individual needs.

Services at the Center

Substance Use Disorder Services

Substance Use Disorder (SUD) assessments for youth and adults, outpatient (1-2 times per week) and intensive outpatient groups (3 times per week on average), Individual SUD counseling, and peer recovery services.

Mental Health Services

Counseling for those who have both a diagnosed mental health disorder and a substance use disorder, medication prescriptions management for those with mental health diagnoses, and mental health counseling

Supported Employment Services

Supported employment specialists work with employers and clients to assist in filling job positions, build relationships with both, and assist in job search skills (e.g., resume building, interviews, etc.).

A: Substance use disorder assessments and counseling, co-occurring treatment counseling services, psychiatric medication management, mental health counseling, and supported employment services are available in-person by appointment. Please call (253) 593-2740 to see what other services are right for you.

A: In order to receive in-person services from The Center, all individuals are encouraged to make an appointment. Services are offered at 721 Fawcett Ave #204, Tacoma, WA 98402 and all individuals will complete a health screening upon entry. 

A: We have expanded our services to better serve individuals. You now have access to treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, which specializes in treatment for individuals experiencing more than one mental health or substance abuse conditions.

A: Housing, education and employment services are available virtually. Rental assistance is available for Tacoma residents. Please continue to visit mdc-hope.org for the latest updates on MDC services.
